Farah Aghajani is the owner of International Academy of Hair Design as well as the established and successful Farah Salon & Spa. Her creative genius translates in to the bold, beautiful concepts which guide her students to a hairstyling paramount. Her creativity, the innovative and unique techniques that she has mastered, made her a well sought after leader and icon. The inspiration for creating the institute came from the discerned absence of such training in the Canadian hairstyling industry. Due to her own salon operations and through her international contacts and affiliations in the industry, Farah knows what the demands are, and raises the educational levels to meet them. She also incorporates her many years of business and hair skills as well as her personal touch into the curriculum. Thus graduating highly educated and truly unique future hairdressers.

A real salon experience.

The true focus, here at International Academy of Hair Design, is to prepare our students for the real world. The academy's salon guarantees just that. We market and advertise consistently and attract many clients into the Academy salon, including students' families and friends. Through supervision and guidance, our students are able to apply their well-taught skills on live people; broadening their understanding of hair movement, texture and chemical changes. Students are also able to experience and be part of different salon business aspects such as management, leadership and co-operation skills.
